Oy R. Nordström & Co Ab was established in 1928. The company operated until the 1970s as the ship's management company. Today the company acts as Nordström Group's administrative unit, being responsible for the companies' financial management as well as the development of the groups operations and organization.
Although the company does not have any ships at the moment, it has nevertheless maintained excellent contacts with shipping through the ship's clearance and stevedoring companies it manages.
The environmental technology activity initiated during the last few years may be regarded as an entirely new type of territorial conquest. These operations are being developed by Oy Terrasor Ab.
The company’s offices are situated in the Satamatalo building at the Port of Loviisa, and employs five people.

The 9,5 metre fairway leading to the port enables berthing of large ships. We have 665 metres of quays which together with the fact that we seldom suffer from congestion helps getting the ships swiftly dischaged and loaded.
The Port of Loviisa has specialized in handling of wood products and 28000 m2 of indoor warehouse space and large outdoor warehouse areas are at your disposal. The warehouses are located near the quays, enabling fast and efficient handling of goods to and from vessels.
