The Port of Loviisa is located some 90 km east of Helsinki and has good connections by road and trains. The road and train connections to the port are in good condition and two trains per day ensure easy delivery of goods to the port. The 9,5 metre fairway leading to the port enables berthing of large ships. We have 665 metres of quays which together with the fact that we seldom suffer from congestion helps getting the ships swiftly dischaged and loaded.
The company was founded in 1914 and has been a port operator ever since. The Company is also one of the founding members of the Finnish Port Operators Association.
